I'd Rather Be Fishing

What better way to spend the day then to go fishing? The preparations are simple and the cost is inexpensive.
After making sure my tackle box is in order with plenty of hooks, weights, new line, bobbers and a container of bait, preferably worms, I can walk out of the door with my pole, set my Adt alarm system around bremen and be off for a day in the sun.
Among my most favorite places to fish is the river near my home. There are very good fishing spots near the bank or if I'm feeling adventurous, I can rent a canoe and paddle downstream, enjoying the sights of Mother Nature. Being in the South provides very good sites for not only casting out a line on the chance of catching a nice sized blue gill, but also a chance to see alligators swimming nearby, otters and a variety of water birds.
River fishing also means there is a good chance of catching a nice sized catfish. Catfish seem to love the brackish waters after a hard rain, so fishing on the bottom with a heavy weight to fight off the strong river current, usually means at least two or three of the bottom feeders will nibble on your worm. River fishing in the South is one of the more perfect ways to spend a day.
