The 2010 Farmers Insurance Open ended with Ben Crane claiming victory over Marc Leishman, Brandt Snedeker and Michael Sim by one stroke. Crane fired rounds of 65-71-69-70 to finish the tournament at 13 under par.

The victory was the third for 33 year old Crane.

Four players finished in a tie for fifth at 11 under par. Rookies Alex Prugh and Rickie Fowler along with Michael Allen and Ernie Els.

Six players would tie for ninth at 10 under par.

Scott Piercy breezed thru the north course on Thursday for a one stroke lead at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Piercy fired an 8 under 64 to lead Ben Crane, Chris Tidland, Matt Every and Ryuji Imada by one stroke. All of those players played the easy north course for day one.

Many experts believe Robert Allenby who is at 5 under is in the best position since Allenby played the tough South course on Day one.

15 players are sitting at 5 under par or better after Day one and of those 15 fourteen played the North Course.

Rickie Fowler has finally showed some of his game and the hype surronding him after firing a 5 under 57 on day one.

106 players are even or better after day one. Look for the cut to be somewhere around 2 to 3 under par.
