Duo shares lead at Joburg Open

Jamie Elson and Damien Mcgrane both shot 8 under par 63s to share the first round lead at the Joburg Open. The race for the first round lead was fierce as four players shot 64s and nine more shot 65s.
Play was suspended and first round play finished early Friday morning.

Their are two courses for this tournament . The East course which is a par 72 and the West course which is a par 71. The West course was easily the easiest on day one. Nine of the top 10 on day one played the West course. England's Robert Rock was the low man for all players playing the East course on day one. Rock shot a seven under 65.
