Bill Haas Wins Bob Hope Championship

Bill Haas won the Bob Hope Championship with a birdie on the final hole. Haas joins his father as a champion of the tournament. His father Jay Haas won the tournament in 1988.

Matt Kuchar, Bubba Watson and Tim Clark all finished one stroke behind in a tie for 2nd place.

Rookie Alex Prugh was two strokes behind for 5th place. This is Prugh first top 5 in his career.


Mike Weir was four strokes behind in sixth with D.J. Trahan six back in seventh place.

With the win Haas moves into a second place tie in the FedEx Cup standings behind Ryan Palmer.

Haas earned 900,000 dollars for his victory.
