Three are tied for the lead at the Abu Dhabi Championship. Ian Poulter, Keith Horne and Richard Bland all shot first round 65s to share the lead.
The first major type field on the European tour this year is going to be a shootout.
As 33 players ranked in the top 100 battle it out for the title.
Ian Poulter ranked #12 in World leads the group at 7 under with Rory Mcilroy ranked #10 sitting at 6 under. Sergio Garcia #13 is also sitting at 6 under.
Lee Westwood the worlds #4 player is the lowest ranked player in the field and is sitting at 3 under.
